About Us

The Museum Gift Shop is named in honor of Marine Chief Warrant Officer Phyllis Alexander, who served as Drill Instructor and, for more than a decade, was a dedicated volunteer at the Museum and managed the Gift Shop.
The Gift Shop sells a variety of Marine Corps-related items, many of which are exclusive designs. The Gift Shop is operated and managed by the Parris Island Historical and Museum Society.
Proceeds from sales support the Parris Society’s mission of education, publication, and preservation. They are also used to support the Depot’s Museum programs.
